SPARKS, Md. — US Lacrosse today opened registration at USLacrosse.org for its West Regional Conference, a professional development and educational event for lacrosse coaches, officials and organizational leaders Nov. 30-Dec. 2, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nev.
US Lacrosse members always will enjoy a savings of $30 on registration vs. non-member pricing. Those with active memberships through or beyond Dec. 31 may register for the US Lacrosse West Regional Conference for just $60 until Oct. 31. The early bird rate for the general public is $90, also until Halloween.
Registration includes a welcome reception and social Friday evening and a lunch Saturday.
The US Lacrosse West Regional Conference will take place at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel, a non-gaming, smoke-free resort located a short walk from Las Vegas Boulevard. The event represents an expansion of last year’s inaugural officials-only conference in Los Angeles and will feature specific sessions for each of the three constituent groups above.
“We received significant, positive feedback from our officials event last fall, enough to warrant an expansion of offerings to coaches and organizational leaders,” Kim Rogers, director of events at US Lacrosse, said. “Our early bird prices represent terrific values for people to attend the US Lacrosse West Regional Conference.”
Activities planned for the event include, among others: classroom and on-field educational clinics, train-the-trainer sessions for select coaches, youth and high school rules interpretation sessions, meetings for state and regional coordinators involved in US Lacrosse’s new structure for officials, and a welcome reception and social.
US Lacrosse welcomes applications for speakers and interest from the industry for sponsorship opportunities. Specific session schedules will be released at later dates. Accommodations at the Renaissance Las Vegas may be reserved at the conference rate of $99 per night before Nov. 2. Market pricing takes effect thereafter.
Standard registration Nov. 1-29 will be $75 for members and $105 for non-members. Space permitting, walk-up registration will be $90 for members and $120 for non-members.
