Defensive Academy provides best-in-class lacrosse training for defensive players. Founded by top professionals Tucker Durkin and Kyle Hartzell, our method is curated to hone and improve the defensive skill-set. Our "D-Day" training series feature 2-hour clinics focused on developing players from the ground up. Whether your goal is to get recruited to play Division-I college lacrosse or just to improve on fundamentals, we've got you covered. Kyle Hartzell will be holding a Defensive Academy Clinic on Monday, June 4th at Williamsville East High School in East Amherst, New York.  This will be Kyle's only appearance in Western New York this year and is a can't miss for all Defensive players in the area.

Summary: Our training philosophy is simple: world-class instruction from world-class defenders. This D-Day event will feature two age-parsed sessions to hone defensive fundamentals, lacrosse intelligence, favorite drills and techniques, and a number of best practices - delivered by the world's top defensive talent. Session 1 (5th - 8th Grade): 5:00PM - 6:30PM

Session 2 (9th - 12th Grade): 7:00PM - 8:30PM

US Lacrosse: Our Buffalo event will be run in partnership with the Western NY Chapter of US Lacrosse - whose efforts we support in broader hopes of growing the game through healthy lacrosse ecosystems. ***ALL players MUST have an active US Lacrosse membership to participate*** See for membership details.

Who: Boys with at least one year of playing experience (Girl's event on 6/3 w/ Covie Stanwick). D-Day training sessions are designed to help players of all skill levels improve, so don't worry about skill gaps or potential inexperience. We all share the common goal of improvement - regardless of our skill level today.
